Of those residents, approximately 99% are residents of Browns Valley and surrounding communities. Browns Valley health Center offers services in:
• 24 hour skilled nursing care
• Pastoral Care and Religious Services
• Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy (on-site)
• Wound, IV Therapy and Ostomy Care
• Psychiatric Consultants
• Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care
• Therapeutic Recreation (individualized, small group or large group)
• Beauty and Barber Services

Education is a high priority in health care and for Browns Valley Health Center. Providing opportunities to further education and learn new information and skills is essential to providing quality, comprehensive, and holistic resident care. Certified nursing assistant classes are paid for by Browns Valley Health Center. Browns Valley Health Center offers Scholarships for qualifying programs that provide training and education.

Position 1: FT 72 hours per pay period: 12 Hour Day Shift 6:30am-7:00pm
Position 2: FT 72 hours per pay period: 12 Hour Night Shift 6:30pm-7:00am
Position 3: PT 48 hours per pay period: 12 Hour Night Shift 6:30pm-7:00am
Position 4: PT 24-48 hours per pay period: Evenings 2:30pm-9:30pm.

Wage Scale: $21.00-$23.19 ($18.00 for NA Trainees)
Not Certified, No Worries! We will train you and be enrolled in the state approved NAR Class at no cost to you!

The William Krensing American Legion Auxiliary held their monthly meeting at Browns Valley Health Center.

During the meeting, Edith Foren was honored for 55 continuous years of membership, and Lori Goodhart was recognized for 40 years of dedicated service—an incredible milestone for both!

By hosting the meeting at the nursing home, residents who are Auxiliary members were able to attend and be part of the gathering, making it especially meaningful.

The afternoon was topped off with enjoying a delicious dessert.
