We strive to enhance each individual's life with professional and caring services, and to help each resident achieve his or her highest potential. Francis Health Services of Morris, Browns Valley Health Center is sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of St. We are dedicated to promoting the Ethical and Religious Directive for Catholic Health Care services. Browns Valley Health Center cares for approximately 50 residents on an average year. Of those residents, approximately 99% are residents of Browns Valley and surrounding communities. Browns Valley health Center offers services in:
• 24 hour skilled nursing care
• Pastoral Care and Religious Services
• Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy (on-site)
• Wound, IV Therapy and Ostomy Care
• Psychiatric Consultants
• Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care
• Therapeutic Recreation (individualized, small group or large group)
• Beauty and Barber Services
- Wireless Internet

Education is a high priority in health care and for Browns Valley Health Center. Providing opportunities to further education and learn new information and skills is essential to providing quality, comprehensive, and holistic resident care. Certified nursing assistant classes are paid for by Browns Valley Health Center. Browns Valley Health Center offers Scholarships for qualifying programs that provide training and education.

Today is National Parfait Day!
Everyone enjoyed the chance to build their own parfaits with delicious options — strawberries, blueberries, graham crackers, whipped cream, and of course, yogurt. YUM!
Along with our parfait fun, we added a little Thanksgiving excitement. Staff competed in a turkey run and a “Best Turkey Call” contest, with our residents serving as the judges. Congratulations to Coleen Roe, winner of the turkey call!

Browns Valley Health Center had the honor of hosting a Minnesota Alliance for Patient Safety (MAPS) Safe Caring Tour on November 3rd. During the visit, BVHC showcased our tech-forward care practices and highlighted how we are leveraging innovation to support residents, staff, and partnerships with local hospitals and long-term care providers.

We are especially proud to share that BVHC was the only long-term care facility in the state of Minnesota selected to participate in this Safe Caring Tour. It is a tremendous honor, and we are grateful for the opportunity to represent the innovative work happening in our community and industry.
