Linda is a proud lifelong resident of Brownsburg, and her story is woven into the fabric of this growing town. Born and raised here, she later raised her two children in the same community she has always called home.​

​Linda fondly remembers when traffic along 136 was so rare that she and her three siblings would excitedly watch each passing car. She recalls carrying cool drinks to her father as he worked the fields on his tractor, Sundays spent faithfully at church, and weekends gathering with friends at the local Root Beer Stand.​

​Though Brownsburg has grown tremendously, Linda says her favorite part has always been the people. For 20 years, many locals came to know her while sitting in her chair at Great Clips, where she listened closely and helped each person look their very best. We are fortunate to now call her our friend.

Ann's curiosity took root early in life. Summers became sacred at Shriner Lake, where she spent more than 60 summers, first as a child, and later with her own children. Those lakeside days shaped her love for nature, history, and storytelling.​

Ann’s artistic spark was ignited in grade school by an encouraging art teacher who encouraged her talent. As she got older, Ann shared her artwork through craft fairs, auctioning off her paintings and drawings, each piece reflecting her deep connection to Indiana’s landscapes and stories.​

​Later in life, Ann’s husband created a special space where imagination had no limits. There, she painted, drew, crafted teddy bears, and wrote the books that would become her legacy. In 2005, Ann celebrated a major milestone when her first book was sold. In Then and Now at Tri Lakes, Ann combined her talents as an artist and historian, sharing drawings and historical sketches of the area in a child-oriented book designed to educate and inspire young readers. She went on to write several books, each reflecting her passion for storytelling, history, and art.
