Monday mornings can be heavy.

For some people, it’s just the start of a new week.
For others, it’s walking back into stress, cravings, pressure… or just trying to hold it together one more day.

If that’s you today, you’re not the only one 🤍

At The Willow Center, we see the people who show up anyway.
Tired. Overwhelmed. Unsure.
But still trying.

And that matters.

We have a seat for you.

You don’t need to come in with a plan.
You don’t have to have it all together.

Just come as you are. We’ll sit with you and figure it out together.

Sometimes the hardest part is just walking through the door.
Just focus on the next step.

When you’re ready, we’ll be here.

What’s one small win you’re focusing on today? Drop it below, we’d love to hear it.

And if nobody’s told you lately, you can do this. One day at a time.

You can look like you have it all together…
and still feel like you’re barely holding on.

Most people won’t say it out loud.

They’re showing up.
Taking care of everyone else.
Getting through the day.

But inside?
They’re overwhelmed. Numb. Tired. Irritated. Checked out.

We see it all the time.

And we also see what happens when people finally get the right support.

Things don’t magically become perfect…
but they do start to feel manageable again.

That’s what our DBT program is about.
Real tools. Real support. Real people who get it.

If something in you has been thinking, “I can’t keep doing this like this…”
don’t ignore that.

Call us.

You don’t have to hit rock bottom to get help.

Last week, we shared about Drug Court and Work Release, and how misunderstood these programs can be.

So we want to share a little more about Hendricks County Drug Court.

Drug Court started in the late 1980s as a different way to respond to addiction in the justice system. Instead of sending people straight to jail, it was built on the idea that addiction is a treatable issue, not just a criminal one.

It’s a restorative justice approach, focused on helping people take responsibility, rebuild their lives, and reconnect with their community… not just be punished.

It combines accountability (court oversight, drug screens, expectations) with support (treatment, counseling, structure).

The goal isn’t just to avoid jail, it’s real, lasting change. We don’t just want people to be compliant—we want them to actually change from the inside out.

Here in Hendricks County, that’s exactly what’s happening.

The Drug Court team shows up every day holding people accountable while still believing they’re capable of more. And at The Willow Center, we’re part of that process as a treatment provider—walking alongside individuals as they do the hard work of real change.

This only works when we’re aligned—courts, programs, providers—all working toward the same goal.

Not just compliance… but restored lives. And we get to see that happen every day.

What’s something people often get wrong about recovery or programs like this? Drop in the comments.

Everyone, this is Shane.

He celebrated 18 months of continued sobriety on 3/30/26, and we at The Willow Center couldn’t be more proud.

Shane remains dedicated to his program, his faith, and continues to grow. We will never tell you that it's easy, but it is worth it. You're worth it!

He is pictured here with Brandon, our lead recovery coach, who is committed to walking alongside the people he serves every step of the way.

Help us celebrate this milestone and show Shane some encouragement 👇

If you’re on your own journey, drop your time below too, we see you.

We had the opportunity to hear from Betsy Schuler (Hendricks County Drug Court) and Bridgette Collins (Community Corrections/Work Release) at our recent team meeting. They are two remarkable women making a real impact on our community.

For most of our team, these programs are familiar, but it was a good reminder, especially for newer staff, of how connected this work really is.

Drug Court gets misunderstood. It’s not soft. It’s a restorative approach that actually asks more of people, real accountability, real ownership, and the hard work of changing from the inside out. Not just compliance. Actual change.

Work Release carries that same purpose. It’s not a free pass. It’s a bridge, helping people stay connected to real life while still being held accountable.

Here’s why it matters.

This only works when we’re aligned. Courts, programs, providers, we’re all part of the same goal. We don’t just want people to follow rules, we want them to succeed.

Grateful for leaders like Betsy and Bridgette who show up every day and do the work.

Curious, what’s something people often get wrong about recovery or the justice system?

Teammates of the Quarter 👏

Last Friday, we had the chance to recognize two people who are making a real impact, not just on our team, but in the lives of the people we serve.

At The Willow Center, we’re intentional about who we bring onto this team. We look for people who elevate the work, the culture, and the care we provide, and both of these individuals do exactly that.

Yas – Pittsboro
Yas leads our adolescent IOP, and she has a way of connecting with teens that you can’t teach. They trust her. They show up for her. And that’s because she shows up for them, consistently, authentically, and with a level of care that stands out. The work she’s doing is meaningful, and it’s changing lives.

Brandon – Brownsburg
Brandon is our lead peer recovery coach, and what he brings to our recovery management program is powerful. He’s lived it, he’s walking the talk, and clients feel his sincerity. He’s relatable, approachable, and meets people without judgment, while still challenging them to grow. People don’t just listen to him… they believe him.

Grateful for both of them and the standard they set. This is what the work is all about. 💛

Please join us in wishing Bryce, our Client Transportation Specialist, a very happy birthday! Bryce is a hard worker with a heart of gold. Each day, he ensures that our clients who may have transportation limitations can safely get to and from their appointments at TWC. Without this critically important service, some folks may not be able to get the help they need. We are so grateful to have Bryce on our team, and we wish him a great birthday week!
