Medical office position responsible for front office processes in a fast paced physician practice.

Responsibilities include:
Collects co-pays and post charges.
Charge entry and patient balance processing.
Distributes information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, information about the practice, etc.
Explain and enroll patients in the patient portal.
Must be able to multitask between phone calls and assisting patients.
Verify patient insurance plans.
Acquire prior authorizations from insurance companies.

Qualifications:
Education Required: High school diploma/GED.

Preferred: Completion of medical office assistant program

Experience Preferred: 2 years of experience working in a medical office setting.

This position is for a full time position. Must be available Monday- Friday from 8AM to 5PM, may be required to stay late if patients are still in the office.

Medical office position may also include responsibilities for providing direct nursing care in a medical office setting under the direction of a physician, assists medical providers, and maintains a clean and safe environment in accordance with the policies and procedures of the practice.

Qualifications:

Preferred: Completion of medical office assistant program or Medical
assistant Certification

Experience Preferred: 2 years of experience working in a medical office setting.
