If you smelled chili dogs in the air today… yep, that was us! 🌭🔥 We kicked off our Veterans celebration with a heartfelt prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, and enough food to make Uncle Sam loosen his belt buckle! Thanks to our amazing staff for being on chili dog and cookie duty. 🍪💪🏻
Each of our amazing veterans got a certificate of appreciation and pin. Also, sweet handwritten thank-you notes from the awesome kids at Brownwood Middle School — guaranteed to warm hearts faster than a fleece blanket.
Speaking of blankets — a HUGE shoutout to Stephanie, Paula and Mark from VFW Post 3278, who rolled in with handmade fleece blankets and goodie bags.
There was laughter, hugs and maybe a few cookie crumbs left behind — but most of all, there was love and gratitude for the incredible men and women who’ve served our country. ❤️🤍💙
Because here at The Chatfield, we don’t just thank our veterans… we feed them, spoil them, and celebrate them like the heroes they are.

We had some visitors come thru yesterday morning and the festivities continued thru the evening. From super heros ,Queens ,little spookies .We had an amazing day and couldn't have done this without our community. A big shout out to all the Hospice and Home Health partners that donated candy and all the families .A special thank you to Beckie Ehlers CMS Kinder Hearts Hospice for joining us at our event.

We’re seeking a Hospitality Aide to join our growing team! Reliability, trustworthiness and consistency regarding attendance is extremely important to this job. The ability to regularly and timely attend work, cooperative and politely work and deal with others, and to effectively multi-task and work in a stressful environment are also essential functions to this job. Most importantly, genuine care for the elderly.
Responsibilities:
• Accountable for personal and observation of residents within patient care policy guidelines. Identify and report any condition requiring management attention.
• Follow nurses’ assignments and instructions and assume responsibility for assigned residents’ care.
• Assist residents with any needs involving grooming, dressing, bathing, and care as needed with incontinence products.
• Assist residents with medications as needed.
• Assist residents with activities as needed, encourage participation in activities.
• Maintain clean environment per posted cleaning schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Ability to record information.
• Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience.

Turkey season has officially opened at the Chatfield! Our Activities Director aka “Chatfield Outfitters Hunting Guide”, Esther, took our residents on a wild turkey hunt today. Thanks to our Administrator Toby for being the “Turkey”! So much laughter and fun was had today!!!
