You can do it.
Let go.

We’re two weeks from the New Moon solar eclipse in Aquarius (annular eclipse only visible in Antarctica with a partial eclipse visible in South America and southern Africa). That New Moon also marks the start of the Lunar New Year. At the Full Moon, we earnestly began the shift from the Wood Snake to the Fire Horse. The next 14 days are important!

First, you must finish shedding your old skin. These last bits are the toughest and most clingy. You might be feeling like you just can’t do it, can’t fully let go, so you think you’ll manage or ignore it. But alas, you cannot. Things that linger, the stories and beliefs you won’t release, will only be amplified by the Fire Horse.

Which brings me to my second point. Everyone is super psyched about the Year of the Fire Horse. I mean, it sounds and looks cool! There are so many pictures of galloping horses with flames. Wild, right?!

Yes, totally wild. That’s the thing about Fire. It’s wild. It can get away from you. It’s hot and smoky. Like a horse that’s quietly grazing but suddenly sprints away, a little campfire can become a conflagration without proper attention and care. The Fire Horse can be unpredictable and you can literally and figuratively burn out.

So right now it’s important that you put to rest whatever is lingering from the Year of the Snake. Hold an actual funeral! Bury things that represent what you want to change. Clean out the closet. Throw away old, broken things. Donate books and household items you haven’t used in a year. Tidy up your drawers and clean under the bed. Say a eulogy for your old self and also honor what’s stayed and grown, too.

This kind of conscious awareness is key for working with the Fire Horse. If you can’t be fully present with the Snake, the Horse will overpower you. Fire Horse is intense, passionate, Yang energy following a period of introspection, rest, and Yin energy. You need to be prepared to move fast, innovate, and flow with the changes, and that preparation needs to get underway now, if you haven’t started already. 🔥

So if last year felt rough, it was the year of the snake, a year for shedding the old. A #9 year, for closing, ending of cycles.
In February we move into the year of the horse, full speed ahead!
A #1 year, for igniting, new beginnings.

Here are some things to bring awareness to about yourself and some suggestions of how you might move into alignment.

THE QUIET BEFORE THE FIRE HORSE ✨FOUR WEEKS TO INTEGRATE THE 1 UNIVERSAL FREQUENCIES BEFORE THE NEXT SHIFT ✨ JANUARY 15, 2026

Dear friends, January 15 arrives with a quiet intensity, like the stillness before a long gallop. We are now exactly one month away from the opening of the first eclipse corridor in mid-February and the ignition of the Fire Horse energy. This day carries the awareness of proximity—nothing is rushing yet, but everything is orienting. You may feel an internal recalibration, as if your system is subtly checking its balance, sensing that a larger movement is approaching and preparing its footing.

The atmosphere today favors assimilation rather than action. We have four full weeks to integrate the 1 Universal frequencies seeded during the opening days of the year, and Thursday asks you to let them sink into the deeper layers of your body and nervous system. This is not about understanding them mentally, but about allowing them to reorganize rhythm, timing, and response. Many may notice a slower pace, heavier limbs, or a desire for simplicity—signals that the body is doing foundational work.

Emotionally, this day can feel reflective and slightly sober. The excitement of January’s portals gives way to a more honest self-assessment: what is truly aligned, and what cannot be carried forward into the next corridor. Old impulses, habits, or emotional loops may surface—not to be fixed, but to be acknowledged and released. This is the kind of clarity that arrives without drama, quietly firm and unmistakable.

Energetically, Thursday functions as a bridge between cycles. The Universal 1 frequency continues to emphasize sovereignty and new beginnings, but in a contained, disciplined form. Rather than initiating outward projects, the work is internal: strengthening energetic boundaries, stabilizing identity, and ensuring that what you are building has a nervous system capable of holding it. This is preparation for momentum, not momentum itself.

As we approach the Fire Horse activation in February, the body is learning restraint and direction. Fire without grounding scatters; power without structure burns out. Today’s energy helps establish internal reins—clear intention, embodied presence, and conscious pacing. You may feel drawn to routines that anchor you, to breath, warmth, and practices that reinforce inner coherence.

In the next four weeks, as identity shifts, the body needs time to re-orient. You may notice you’re speaking differently, tolerating less, or no longer explaining yourself the way you used to. Hello again.

We went silent at Samhain as we focused more inward and embraced the transition of seasons.
So much authentic learning has taken place, and connections made in such a short period of time.

Our "The Age of the Apothecary" event in October was such a beautiful embodiment of moving into the dark half of the year. Slow, self immersive, organic, candle lit, enriching to the senses.

This was followed by a small private retreat, "We Are Of Delilah", celebrating my grandmother's 72nd birthday. It was fulfilling in a way that can only be achieved with those you've known and loved for so long. Deep laughter, deeper love, blood deep connections.

The holidays came and went as we continued to self-reflect and peel back the layers of cultural conditioning and find comfort in more authentic ways of living.

Then we had somewhat of a surprise!
We had intended to host a private Full Wolf Moon retreat during this moon cycle but canceled it only to meet someone that was also planning an event for this time, but with a different focus.
Meeting her was a head start on this "Year of the Horse".
She requested to relocate her event here. The retreat was incredibly grounding and expanding at the same time and the connections continue to grow and expand the web.

She has invited me to share her space on occasion doing something I love so much and thus was born, "intuitea with Tierney".
I will be guiding people to use their own intuition paired with the ancient practice of tasseography to gain insight about themselves and the world around them.

This relationship with Yolanda Marie Kehr (and those she has connected me to) has already flourished in so many ways but the "official launch" of me joining her at The OM Center w/Yo Fit in Osage Beach is this New Moon on January 18th!
