🕊️ Celebrating the Life of Gibb Walker, Sr. 🕊️

The days of our years are three scores and ten (70) and if by reason of strengths, it might be more. Psalm 90:10

Today, we honor and celebrate an individual who spent a lifetime as a fisherman of the sea. He didn't just fish to live; he lived to fish." He has journeyed many places across the waters of this world. If Mr. Gibbs could appear on earth for one final time. He would tell his loved ones that he has finished the life's chores assigned to him, so put him on the boat headed out to sea. Please send along my fishing pole, for I've been invited to the fishin' hole".

It is the prayer of the Management and Staff of Martin Funeral Home that God strengthen the hearts of his family and loved ones during this time of sorrow. His lines are dry, his work is done. It’s smooth sailing from here.

Please keep the Walker family lifted in prayer as they adjust to life without the precious presence of their loved one. 🕊️

🕊️ Celebrating the Life of Ernest Edward Lewis, Jr.

With deep love and heavy hearts, we remember Ernest Edward Lewis, Jr., known in the gaming world as Salvo Moth, a kind, gentle, and intelligent soul who was called home on February 3, 2026. Ernest was a cherished son, a loving family member, and a beautiful spirit whose presence brought warmth and light to all who knew him.

He was known for his quiet strength, politeness, and caring heart. Ernest loved learning, gaming, art, and creativity, and he found joy in sharing those passions with others. Through his time with Salvo Moth on PlayStation, he built meaningful connections and shared his creativity, knowledge, and dedication with so many.

Though his time with us was far too short, the love Ernest gave and the memories he created will live on forever.

May God surround Ernest’s family with comfort, peace, and strength during this time of sorrow, and may his love carry them through every moment of grief.

🕊️ Celebrating the Life of Baby Boy Kharo Jasiah Taylor🕊️

Matthew 19:14: "But Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven'".

Baby Kharo was a little light that shone bright. Although. His life on earth was brief, he will forever be loved, forever remembered, and forever missed. God lent him to this world only for a little while to bring so much joy and love to the Taylor family.

It is the prayer of the Management and Staff of Martin Funeral Home that God strengthen the hearts of his family and loved ones during this time of sorrow. We pray the family finds comfort in knowing that Kharo has transitioned to eternity embraced by the love and promises of God.

Please keep the Taylor family lifted in prayer as they adjust to life without the precious presence of their loved one. 🕊️

This Valentine’s Day, we honor love that never fades and the lives that will always be remembered. At Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services, we understand that love continues long after a goodbye, living on through memories, traditions, and the stories we share.

Today, we pay homage to those who are no longer with us, the mothers, fathers, partners, friends, and loved ones who shaped our hearts and left a legacy of love behind. Their presence is still felt in every moment of remembrance.

1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV): "And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love."

As you reflect on those you hold dear this Valentine’s Day, know that we are here to walk with you, to support you, and to help you honor the ones you love with dignity, care, and compassion. From our family to yours, we wish you a Valentine’s Day filled with peace, comfort, and lasting love. ❤️

🕊️ Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Felicia Ann Ross

We lovingly remember Felicia Ann Ross, a woman who always did her best at being the very best wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. Her life was built on faith, and she lived with a heart devoted to God, family, and doing what was right.

Felicia was an amazing individual and a hard worker. With vision and determination, she and her husband built R&S Janitorial Cleaning Service, showing her strong work ethic and commitment to building something meaningful together.

On February 3, 2026, God called Felicia home. Though her earthly chapter has ended, the love she shared, the life she lived, and the example she set will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Please keep the Ross family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

🕊️ Celebrating the Life of Mr. William Henry Hudson

We lovingly remember William Henry Hudson, a musician, mentor, husband, father, and friend whose life was defined by his God-given gift of music. From his early years in Jacksonville to his time at Florida A&M University with the Marching 100, music was the language of William’s spirit and the foundation of his life’s work.

William shared his talent through teaching, mentoring, and bringing comfort and joy to others, especially senior citizens who found healing through his music. His kindness, quick wit, and infectious laughter made him a joy to be around and left lasting memories with everyone who knew him.

Though he has taken his final rest, the love, music, and legacy he built will continue to live on in the hearts of all he touched.

🕊️ Celebrating the Life of Lorena Hicks Johnson

Revelation 14:13: "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord... they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them". Revelation 14:13

We are not here to mourn a loss, but to celebrate a life that was lived for 91 years. God promised us three scores and ten but because of Mother Johnson strength, Godly living, and love for others, He gave her twenty one additional years.

The most comforting message that we share with the family is that ninety-one years were not wasted, but were a direct investment in the Kingdom of God.

As the family say their final see you later until we meet on the other side, it is the prayer of the Management and staff of Martin Funeral Home that God strengthen their hearts. Mother Johnson has arrived at the ultimate destination, embraced by the love of God. May the family find peace in all the memories that have been created over the years. Keep the family in prayer as they adjust to a life without the matriarch of the family and her beautiful smile.
