With love and gratitude, we remember the life of Shelia Michelle Grady, a devoted mother, grandmother, and woman who cherished her family and friends. Shelia was known for her warm spirit, her love of music, and the joy she found in cooking and spending time with those she loved.

Though she is no longer with us, her love and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.

On Sunday, January 11, 2026, Char-T’Airra transitioned to be with the Lord. Though her time with us was far too short, her love, energy, and spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

With grateful hearts, we remember the life of Ruby Lee Nelson, a devoted servant of God, loving mother, and woman of strong faith. Ruby accepted Christ at an early age and faithfully served as a Deaconess at Johnson Temple First Born Church, where she dedicated her life to sharing the goodness of God with others.

On January 8, 2026, Ruby peacefully transitioned from this life to be present with the Lord. Though she has entered eternal rest, her faith, love, and service will continue to live on through her family, her church, and all who were blessed to know her.

Her family and friends will miss that spirit of kindness and dedication that Mother Rooks always exhibited. Although, she may no longer be with them, her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Celebrating the Life of Jamarion Washington

As we gather to honor and celebrate the life of Jamarion, we acknowledge the deep sorrow and shock that surrounds this tragic loss. We recognize the pain felt by family and friends but through all the grief and pain, we honor God for his gift to this world.

While we realize that his physical presence is gone, his spirit and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Please keep his family members in prayer especially his mother and those fatherless children who must now grow up without his presence because life will never be the same without his beautiful spirit. We know that his memory will live on in the hearts of hid loved ones and friends. Always remember that life must end but the love that you have in your heart for Jamarion will always remain forever.
