What an absolute honor to channel the spirit world and raise money for A Place To Start, their mission is to offer guidance, resources, and a supportive community to help you navigate the challenges of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's.
Thanks to all who participated we raised close to $5,000.
We can all take compassionate actions and use our time, energy, business and resources to
help our communities.
My mother in-law Althea had dementia and Alzheimers Disease. It was not long after she was diagnosed that we met Sally and Diana from A Place to Start a Kennebunk-based organization that helps families navigate the diagnosis and care of those with Alzheimer’s disease.
They offered not just advice, but real support — a constant presence to help us understand the complexities of Alzheimer’s. From the very first conversation with Sally and Diana, they patiently answered our questions, provided us with practical tools, and shared emotional guidance that truly helped us cope. More than just resources, they became part of our family, walking with us every step of the way. What touched us most was their unwavering compassion. They understood our struggles and gave us hope when we needed it most. Their knowledge and empathy have made all the difference, and they’ve shown us that we don’t have to walk this difficult road alone. Love never dies and our heart energy lives on.
