Do you feel like the holidays are going to break you? So many of us run on fumes during this time of year. This sometimes leaves us feeling resentful because of all the demands. Everyone in your family requires something from you, including your spouse, your children and your aging parents.
If you are like me, you may try to hide in the bathroom just to get a few moments of peace. Sometimes family will invade that space as well.
If you work, it seems as if work demands increase as well. Timelines shorten. Expectations intensify. The unexpected happens requiring all hands on deck to put out the fire.
A while back, I knew I had to do something to get through the holidays without losing it. As a result, I created a simple mental reset routine that saved me and helped me find real joy in the season again.

Gratitude is such a powerful force! ✨ As I reflect on the past year, I’m taking a moment to appreciate every encounter, experience, and event that has shaped my journey. Whether they were good, bad, happy, sad, or just plain indifferent, each moment has played a role in helping me grow and understand life a little better.
