Our Hospice of the Golden Isles team was proud to take part in yesterday’s Golden Isles Alzheimer’s Walk! 💜
It was a beautiful day to come together in support of those affected by Alzheimer’s and to honor the patients, families, and loved ones we serve every day. Thank you to everyone who joined us and walked for awareness, hope, and a world without Alzheimer’s.

Because of you, our faithful supporters, we exceeded our St Marys Methodist Church Foundation matching grant goal of $150,000 in under four months!!

The matching funds will bring the total to $300,000 and will represent nearly 1000days of Uncompensated Patient Room and Board care for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

At Hospice of the Golden Isles, we are proud to care for all hospice eligible patients regardless of ability to pay.

From team colors and friendly rivalry to great food and even better company, it was the perfect way to kick off the weekend and show our team spirit. ❤️💙

The festive holiday season can be challenging for those grieving the loss of a loved one. They may find themselves torn between the need to grieve and pressure to get into the holiday spirit.

This workshop will help attendees learn ways to cope with grief during the holiday season, determine what is right for them and their families, and refocus energy on positive activities that honor their loved ones.

Hope for the Holidays is a program for anyone grieving and is open to the public. There is no charge to attend. For more information or to RSVP, please call 912-617-1796 .
