Update on Dean David
Dean David had his normal rejection treatments and a new one that the bag and lines had to be covered because the light would destroy the medicine!
Then last Thursday he had his heart cath and we have now gotten the results and biopsies back from that. The good news is is that the rejection is under control so he is now actively transplant listed.
The bad news is that in the last month his heart muscle has become thicker and is having trouble functioning. The doctor said that this means at some point his lungs could start filling up with fluid. If that happens, he will have to go on a pick line with medication which he would have to go to the ICU for a while to make sure that he can handle that medication. Depending on how bad it gets he may have to have other medical treatments. Right now, Dean David is doing really well and isn’t sick. We’re hoping that this continues so he doesn’t have to go through these things but we’re taking it one step at a time.
Dean David is continuing to do all of his therapies he was finally tested for autism and he is autistic at a level two level. One is the lowest and level three is the highest so he is in the middle. They’re making a road plan to help him deal with his behaviors and so that we can make sure that he gets the kind of things he needs to continue learning and working on his behavioral issues .
Dean David enjoys his time with my mom and we are so grateful to her for every single thing she’s doing for him every day!
We are now at the hospital being induced baby Wyatt will be here soon!
I’ll continue to update you guys!
