We kicked off our taste testing series at Henderson Elementary with churro bites and let’s just say…they didn’t last long!

Students cast their votes the fun way by placing stickers on a 😊 or 😕 and the results were clear: a big hit all around!

This week, Mirna is recognizing the incredible team at Jones for the heart they bring to their campus every single day. From the warm welcome at the door to the care behind the scenes, this crew works hard to make mealtime a positive part of every student’s day. We’re so proud of the difference they make!

Feature Friday: Rayburn Intermediate ✨

Serving up to 600 lunches each day, the Rayburn Intermediate team keeps things moving with a fun, fast-paced kitchen and plenty of teamwork.

Students love favorites like buffalo chicken drumsticks and colby cheese omelets, while staff favorites include Italian cavatini, nachos, and tacos.

What makes this team special is the bond they share - some have been working together for over 20 years! They say their favorite parts of the job are the teamwork, the fun atmosphere in the kitchen, and the flexible schedule, including summers off with their families.

Take a moment to say thank you to Maria P., Lydia, Consuelo, Maria D., Elizabeth, Imelda, Maria T., and Lucina for the years of care, connection, and energy that they've consistently brought to Rayburn!

LINQ Connect Update!
LINQ recently added an extra security measure to help protect parent accounts and prevent spam activity on the platform.

Families who log in to LINQ Connect through a web browser will now need to complete a quick CAPTCHA verification step when signing in. This is simply to confirm the login is coming from a real user and helps keep the system safe for everyone.

The LINQ Connect mobile app is not affected by this update and will continue to work as usual.

Last Friday, our Pre-K students at Navarro Elementary celebrated Dr. Seuss with a fun and festive lunch...green eggs and ham! 💚🍳

The celebration went beyond the menu. Staff members dressed up in their best Dr. Seuss–themed outfits, and students came to school dressed as their favorite storybook characters. The cafeteria was filled with colorful costumes, big smiles, and lots of excitement.

It was a wonderful day celebrating reading, imagination, and a little bit of Seuss-inspired fun!
