💔 In Remembrance of the Aggie Bonfire

Today, we pause to remember a tradition that stood for unity, spirit, and the power of coming together. The Aggie Bonfire was more than just a stack of timber — it was a symbol of loyalty, pride, and the unbreakable bond within the Aggie family.

Though the night it fell will never be forgotten, neither will the strength, love, and resilience that rose in its place. We honor those we lost, those who were forever changed, and the spirit that continues to live on in every Aggie heart.

We remember. We stand together. And the Spirit of Aggieland lives on.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month — a time to honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and support the countless lives touched by this disease.

Breast cancer doesn’t just affect one person; it ripples through families, friendships, and entire communities. But with love, research, and early detection, we continue to move closer to hope — closer to healing.

To those currently in the fight: your strength inspires us.
To the survivors: your resilience lights the way.
To those we’ve lost: your memory lives in every step we take toward a cure.

We will never forget 🇺🇸💔

On this night 24 years ago, 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift of saving lives. None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same. Tonight as you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.
