:: Mourning to Dancing ::

"Several years ago a worship song came out with lyrics that have been so meaningful to me. “You turn mourning to dancing, You give beauty for ashes, You turn shame into glory, You’re the only one who can turn graves into gardens.”

My daughter is an artist, so I asked her to draw me her interpretation of “graves into gardens” in the form of a traditional tattoo. And this is the result! Thank you to my daughter Abby and my friend Minda for making this so special!"

:: Humming Bird and Horseshoe ::

This was a sweet little tribute piece for my client and her grandparents. Her grandpa loved sitting and enjoying the hummingbirds and her Grandma loved working with horses (this was actually something she did later in her life).

As I sat and listened to my client reminisce about her grandparents, it stood out to me that they actually took time to enjoy being still and also starting new hobbies. We are never too old (or young) to pause. Begin a new hobby. And rest.

I love working with other local small businesses doing permanent jewelry pop ups! Working together as a community to support each other makes owning a small business so special!

At my events I love meeting new friends and clients, especially when I get to introduce permanent jewelry to those who have never heard of it.

My favorite part of doing pop ups on the square in downtown Bryan is my buddy Aria! She is always supportive of my business, shouting me out to others, and is always down to add another bracelet or anklet to her collection.

:: For Dylan ::

In June of 2025 my client sadly experienced one of the most heartbreaking things a parent could imagine, losing a child. Each time we sat and poured into this piece we talked abut all the things Dylan loved to do. He enjoyed hunting and the deer skull used in this tattoo is a replica of his last buck he was able to get. Dylan was a firefighter, each leaf and flower represent the number 16, his helmet number. And the tiny Aztec design was from his favorite hat.

Even though we can’t bring Dylan back it was tremendous honor to be able to combine the memories of him.
