🎶 Join us this Friday for an enchanting evening of music with the Fountain Park Singers and Ringers, featuring our residents in a special vocal and bell choir performance!

Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis—we had a full house last time!

The performance begins at 6:30 PM in our front living room.

✨Trivia Tuesday Answer!🧠✨

We had a LOT of McDonald’s guesses… 👀🍔
But the answer is… KFC!

Here’s a quick look at how they all got started:

🍗 KFC (1930) – Colonel Sanders began serving fried chicken at a small roadside restaurant in Kentucky during the Great Depression. He later perfected his famous “11 herbs and spices” recipe and started traveling the country to franchise it in his 60s!

🍔 McDonald’s (1940 / 1948) – Started as a small burger stand in California, but in 1948 the McDonald brothers created a fast, assembly-line system that revolutionized the industry. Ray Kroc later expanded it nationwide into the brand we know today.

👑 Burger King (1954) – Founded in Florida as “Insta-Burger King,” it introduced the flame-grilled burger concept and quickly grew into one of McDonald’s biggest competitors. The Whopper became its signature item not long after.

🍔 Wendy’s (1969) – Founded right here in Ohio (Columbus!) by Dave Thomas, the first Wendy’s focused on better quality fast food with fresh, never frozen beef. It even introduced one of the first modern drive-thrus and was named after Dave’s daughter, Wendy.

💡 Fun fact:
It feels like McDonald’s should be first because it became the fast-food giant—but KFC actually started earlier and grew over time!
