Main Line Health is excited to open the doors to a new home for our first in-house Psychiatry Residency program! Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), this residency program will have its new, centralized location at Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Located in the Founder’s Building at 101 South Bryn Mawr Avenue, this centralized space strengthens our commitment to expanding access to high-quality mental health care close to home. Resident physicians train alongside board-certified psychiatrists, licensed therapists, psychologists, nurses and social workers — gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative, team-based outpatient setting that reflects real-world community care.

Together, our clinicians bring advanced clinical expertise, diverse perspectives and a shared commitment to thoughtful, evidence-based care across a full spectrum of behavioral health needs.

Bryn Mawr Hospital celebrated a generous $375,000 donation from the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair.

This gift marks the fourth installment of the show’s five-year, $2 million pledge benefiting the hospital’s inpatient psychiatric unit. The celebration also recognized the remarkable partnership between the two organizations, which dates back to 1919.

The Devon Horse Show & Country Fair is proud to announce a $375,000 donation to Bryn Mawr Hospital, part of our ongoing $2 million pledge to support the hospital’s inpatient psychiatric unit.

This contribution reaffirms Devon’s longstanding role as the largest community donor to Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Devon board members and the hospital’s leadership team celebrated this milestone during a special presentation and reception held on Friday, December 5, at the hospital’s Pennypacker Rotunda.

Main Line Health is proud to announce that Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital and Riddle Hospital earned the prestigious Hospital Safety Grade of A from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety.

"Sustaining straight A grades is a testament to the work being done by our teams every day and shows our community they can count on high-quality, comprehensive care that’s close to home,” said Ed Jimenez, President and CEO of Main Line Health. “We focus on these grades because they are critical indicators, providing an independent measure of whether we are achieving our number one priority of patient safety.”

Paoli Hospital was recognized with a B. Leapfrog assigns letter grades to general hospitals across the country, using evidence-based measures of patient safety focused exclusively on errors, accidents, injuries and infections.

A Main Line Health surgeon has become Pennsylvania's first to implant a new, cutting-edge device for a challenging condition that causes a painful, sometimes debilitating condition in the re**al area and has long frustrated colore**al surgeons.

Dr. Philip Pearson and his team at Bryn Mawr Hospital recently became the first in the state, and among the first nationally, to implant the BioHealx®️ device to treat a**l fistula. The surgery was done with a quick, minimally invasive procedure.

“Anal fistula is a common disease that no one talks about and is difficult to fix,” said Dr. Pearson, "By far, this is the best solution that we’ve ever had to offer. I’m excited about starting to use it for our patients.”

The Orthopaedic Surgery Center at Bryn Mawr Hospital has been recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers. This award highlights the top centers for outpatient surgical care across the country.

The 700 Ambulatory Surgery Centers named to this year’s list were evaluated through a scoring model based on four pillars: quality metrics, peer recommendations, patient experience and accreditations.

When Crozer Health announced its closure, one of the most urgent needs left behind was access to obstetric and gynecologic care. For women in Delaware County, this meant longer travel times, delayed appointments and uncertainty about where to turn for trusted care.

To help fill this gap, Main Line Health welcomed many former Crozer physicians, nurses and staff — providing them with a new home where they could continue their commitment to patients.

Among the recent hires are Dr. Elizabeth B. Louka, Dr. Yun-Lin Cheng, Dr. Lloydia Reynolds and Dr. Steven Troy, who now practice together at Main Line HealthCare OB/GYN at Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Main Line Health is proud to announce that three of its acute care hospitals have been recognized for their excellence in the 2025–26 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals rankings. Lankenau Medical Center, Paoli Hospital and Bryn Mawr Hospital have all achieved high rankings in both regional and state listings.

After nearly two decades of dedicated leadership, we extend our heartfelt thanks and warmest wishes to Jack Lynch, FACHE, President and CEO of Main Line Health, as he retires from his role with the System. Jack will remain at Main Line Health through June 30 to support Ed Jimenez, incoming President and CEO, with a smooth and seamless transition.

During his tenure, Jack spearheaded significant clinical and operational transformation. He led efforts to create a stronger, unified System by consolidating services, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and elevating standards of care. Under his guidance, Main Line Health consistently earned top marks for patient safety and quality, gaining national recognition for excellence.

While the milestones reached under Jack’s leadership are a testament to his visionary leadership, he has always been the first to say they are not his alone — they are the direct result of the unwavering dedication of Main Line Health’s colleagues, medical staff, volunteers and extended community of supporters.
