Giving a warm welcome to the new therapist in our practice, Aimee! Aimee received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The George Washington University in 2018. During her time there she gained the clinical opportunity to work with higher level athletes such as NFL combine athletes, the USA World Cup Sailing team, numerous collegiate level athletes, and semi-professional tennis players and triathletes. From there she took her talents to work in DC and Virginia where she was able to become part of the first inaugural class of Inova's Orthopedic Residency program, graduating in 2023 and passing her boards later that year to become a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She later became part of the teaching faculty for Inova's orthopedic residency, specializing in evaluation and treatment of the foot & ankle. During her time in the DC area she was able to work with professional athletes from the Washington Spirit and DC Defenders as well as an American Ninja Warrior and numerous world championship competing tri-athletes. Aimee specializes in running rehabilitation, tactical athlete rehabilitation, ACL rehabilitation, and working with the everyday recreational athlete. She is also dry needling certified as well as an APTA certified clinical instructor.
