Ponder this!

Have you experienced the surprise of less muscle mass?

When it first hits you, it can be depressing.

You don’t notice that you have NOT reached overhead in over 5 years but when you finally do? Most will call it getting old.

When movement is confident, the body loads bone naturally.

Steps are solid.

Muscles engage more completely.

Balance reactions happen faster.

Bone receives clear, consistent signals that strength is required.

🚶🏻‍♀️

When movement is cautious or fearful, the opposite happens.

Steps shorten and effort decreases.

The body stays guarded.

Bone receives weaker input.

This is why two women doing similar exercises can have very different outcomes.

The hardest cost to notice isn’t money.
It’s time.

Another year of starting and stopping.

Another year of feeling unsure how to train.

Another year of putting strength off until “later.”

Nothing dramatic happens.

That’s the problem.

Measurement is important because the mind will fill in gaps to protect comfort, identity, or excuses.

Data doesn’t remove humanity, it keeps us from lying to ourselves.

2025 has been the best yet.
