When fitness and being active was so defining in my life, having 5 pregnancies in 7 years threw me for a loop! The world of prenatal and postpartum fitness became my focus. I learned everything I could about the pelvic floor and how not to have incontinence, low back pain, and feeling like my insides were falling out because I wanted to lift and run and move freely —- like before. But all of the life changes/body changes, brought me to such surrender in the process. I learned to focus on the little wins. The squat without pain, the jogging without incontinence, the lunging without sciatica. But since I have always exercised at home with my kids around me, I didn’t realize that I was raising my little bestie workout buddies🥹 our early morning runs are things I treasure now that my oldest is fast and getting stronger and loving all the same things I do😄 what a gift I didn’t have a clue was coming🙌 so keep moving, keep your kids moving with you, keep showing the babies/toddlers/kids that it is fun and we can do it TOGETHER🤩

Happy Easter ✝️🕊️
My pastor shared a great sermon today about how wha we celebrate at Easter and baptism are the same! It’s a Death, burial, and resurrection.
Death- something has to die. “What I’m doing isn’t working”
Burial - “sin and shame is washed clean” - sin and shame needs to be buried in the tomb- Jesus washes us clean
Resurrection- we are made brand new!! Whatever was dead in your life is now alive in Jesus Christ. 🆕

Loved stopping by Sarah’s flower stand in Waddell this morning where she had her baby goats out for everyone to hold and love on while they grabbed a gorgeous locally grown bouquet of flowers 💐.in.the.west I love all that God is doing through your passion for sharing the joy of flowers with this West Valley community 🧡 I also love seeing your sweet baby grow up🥰

What to say when God brings the perfect people into your midwifery practice?🥰 This AMAZING mama of 7 chose to switch from a hospital based provider to home birth at 32 weeks, and I am completely blown away by her!!! We quickly got her records and began deep dives on nutrition and all things optimal health as we heard her story and were excited to support her in her desire and determination for home birth🙌 Kristyn and I pray for each and every client that comes into SVB and to say we just adore this mama is an understatement 🧡 She worked hard to get prepared in the few weeks before delivery that we had together and then SHE DID IT! Bringing her sweet baby into her arms surrounded by her beautiful kids and family. ✨To say that we are grateful to be a part of her story is an understatement. Praise God for these amazing mamas we get to support through midwifery☀️

What a fun night at Radiant Church’s Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat 🍂 We had such a fun time riding rides, jumping on bounce houses, petting animals, and of course getting a little bit of candy as we walked through the line of cars doing trunk or treat! All while listening to 90.3 as they blasted worship music through out the night 🙌 and the icing on the cake was seeing a fellow SVB mama there!!!
