About Megan

Hello! My name is Megan Nowland and I am a newly licensed massage therapist in the state of Maine. Welcome to my page! Megan Kay Massage Therapy provides professional, high quality therapeutic massage, bodywork and other healing modalities in a safe and clean environment. In my practice, I preform many different techniques, and customized services to anyone in need of some healing touch. I am based out of Bucksport, Maine close to where I myself grew up in Sedgwick, Maine. I became an LMT in October of 2018, after attending Therapeutic Bodywork Learning Center in Brewer, Maine. The reason why I chose massage therapy is because I have a burning passion to help people feel the best they can in their skin and body, with massage being the best alternative medicine on the market I plan to communicate that through my work. I feel this job was a calling for me to be able to connect to others on a deeper level; to understand their levels of concerns and help them through what their muscles can’t.

Some fun facts about me...

I recently bought a new house with my boyfriend right here in Bucksport, Maine. I’ve lived in Bucksport previously and seen that this is an up and coming area to have such business. It’s a beautiful little town on the coast of Maine, and it’s so close to home! It was a win win for me. I also love the outdoors, anything to do with it! I spend a lot of my free time fishing, hunting, hiking, boating, and enjoying everything nature has to offer.
