✨Inside an OT session: My 3 favorite therapy tools!✨

Our OT, Maddie, is sharing her go-to items that make sessions fun, playful, and full of skill-building:

🧸 Hanging Clothespin Octopus
Perfect for overhead reaching, balance, bilateral coordination, and fine motor skills. We can hang anything on it — from stuffed animals to craft supplies — making it a super versatile tool for engagement and strength.

💪🏼 Theraputty
Great for hand strength, warming up muscles before handwriting, and practicing fine motor + bilateral coordination. We hide beads, game pieces, or roll it into shapes and letters — so many ways to build skills through play!

🥚 Easter Eggs
Not just for spring! We hide items inside to target visual scanning, visual-motor skills, and fine motor coordination. Kids love searching for puzzle pieces, letters, crafts — even climbing into the play structure for a gross motor challenge!

We had such a magical time hosting our annual Donuts with Santa event! This sensory-friendly holiday tradition gave families the opportunity to meet Santa in a calm, welcoming environment—no long lines, no loud crowds, just joyful moments at each child’s own pace.

From shy waves to big smiles and sweet conversations with Santa, every moment reminded us why inclusive, sensory-friendly events matter so much. Thank you to all of the families, staff, and community members who joined us and helped make this day so special.
