This feels like one of those full-circle moments where personal experience, professional background, and the work I care most about all meet in one space.
So much of my path has centered around understanding people more deeply, supporting nervous systems with compassion, and recognizing that many struggles arenโt about laziness, defiance, or โnot trying hard enough.โ Often, people need understanding, the right tools, and environments that actually support them.
Iโm grateful for the opportunity to be part of a conversation that helps create more inclusive and affirming spaces in our community.
Excited, thankful, and ready to present at this event hosted by Neurodiversity Network of WNY. ๐
Are you tired of coping skills that feel like they were made for someone else? Youโve tried the standard suggestions, but youโre still looking for something that actually works in the heat of the moment. If traditional tools aren't cutting it, itโs likely because you need a strategy that provides the specific sensory input your body is looking for.
Come hang out with Evlena and join us as we work together to make WNY more neurodiversity-affirming. Letโs move beyond the basics and explore tools that respect our biology and support our sensory needs.
