She grew up in a competitive active family who were predisposed to both mental illness and physical diseases. She has personally struggled with anxiety and self-worth in the past and has overcome many life-changing events from divorce, to job loss, to illness and injury, to death, as well as just managing the day to day of being a single parent, friend, sister, and working full time while trying to also take care of her own personal needs. She knows the importance of self-care and stays balanced with yoga practice, running, strength training, hiking, and the occasional beach vacation. She draws from her own journey and experience to help others grow and recognize their own strengths and sense of self- worth. Jennifer has seen firsthand the impact lifestyle choices and environment have on overall health when not actively engaged in one’s own wellbeing. She has a passion not only for physical health, but mental health and understands the body and mind are intimately connected. She believes in assessing the whole person not just one piece or aspect of health. Jennifer is a firm believer in the act of tiny habits and that the secret to success lies in your daily routine and a positive outlook. Jennifer’s experiences are what gave her the knowledge and expertise around wellbeing and has made her so passionate about how we must constantly evolve and actively choose how we live our lives. She undoubtedly understands the power of the whole wellbeing and her never quit attitude is what keeps her moving forward and drives her to continue learning and motivating others. Jennifer’s goal both personally and professionally is to educate and inspire others to make active healthy decisions daily so they can find happiness, improve quality of life, increase longevity, and reduce disease. Jennifer focuses on promoting behavior changes that are rooted in these lifestyle factors – sleep, avoiding risky substances, healthy eating, managing stress, physical activity, curiosity and learning, and relationships.
