Today we want to recognize one of our most hardworking, long time employees, Wendy Thompson. This week marks Wendy’s 29th year with WNY MRI.

Wendy started in 1995 when there was a total of 6 employees. Today, WNY MRI has over 100 employees. Over the years Wendy has aided immensely in making WNY MRI what it is today. We have 4 main locations with satellite offices. We offer MRI, CT, PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, DEXA, X-ray and fluoroscopy. If something goes wrong at any time or location, Wendy is our girl! Her knowledge and skills are unlike any other.

If she’s not scanning on the front lines, Wendy is behind the scenes as our PACS Administrator. She makes daily operations for employees, radiologists and referring physicians run as smooth as possible. On top of being a technologist and PACS Admin, she does the ACR Accreditations for our MRI units, keeps the NYS state books up to date and organized, handles all referring physician accounts and never forgets an employee birthday!

Thank you Wendy for your continued hard work and dedication to WNY MRI!! We appreciate the many hats you wear ESPECIALLY the crown 👸🏻🌟
