đź’™ March Is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month đź’™

Colorectal cancer is one of the most common—but also one of the most preventable—types of cancer. It often develops slowly and may begin as small growths called polyps, which usually don’t cause symptoms at first.

That’s why early detection matters. When colorectal cancer is found early, it is highly treatable, and screening can even stop cancer before it starts by finding and removing precancerous polyps.

Many people put off screening because they feel healthy or aren’t sure what to expect—but symptoms often don’t appear until later stages. Health experts recommend routine screening starting at age 45 for those at average risk, or earlier if you have a family history or other risk factors.

This March, take a step for your health. Talk with your healthcare provider about your screening options and what’s right for you.
✨ Early detection saves lives. Awareness is the first step. 💙
