Today, we mourn the loss of a true hero and a cherished colleague Brent Walter, who dedicated 25 years to serving our community with unwavering commitment and integrity. As one of the Real Men of the Leon County Posse, he exemplified strength, leadership, and compassion. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the values he instilled in all of us. Thank you for your service, and for being a guiding light in our lives. Rest in peace, my friend—you will be missed deeply.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time for the community to come together and build awareness and a movement towards safe and healthy relationships for all individuals and families. Domestic violence touches every person in our community and society as a whole; and violates a person’s dignity, safety, and basic human rights. Stand up as a champion for survivors. CLEVELAND, Texas (KTRK) -- A man matching the description of the suspect accused of gunning down his neighbors in San Jacinto County over the weekend was seen in Montgomery County, according to the sheriff's office.

That's why there's a heavy presence around Highway 105 East near Security Landfill Road, the sheriff's office tweeted.
