Did you know - orthodontics is the first dental specialization?

In 1900, Edward H. Angle was credited as the "father of modern orthodontics". He developed a classification system for malocclusion that is still in practice by modern orthodontists.
He went on to establish the American Society of Orthodontia (which is now known as the American Association of Orthodontics).
Additionally, he went on to create the first orthodontic school and and the first orthodontic journal.

Did you know - the term "orthodontics" is derived from Greek words?

It comes from the word "ortho", which means straight and "odont" meaning tooth.

In case you missed it - our holiday contest is underway for patients and their siblings.

We can't believe it! We've already gotten our first submissions (see below for the ones we've already received) 🤩

For ages between 7-18, we want to see either your best holiday Labubu drawing or your best holiday Pokémon drawing.

Be sure to get it to us by December 12th - you can either drop it off or mail it to us if you're not going to be in before the due date.

We have a new employee in the Tonawanda location, meet Elizabeth. She likes daily peanut snacks, supervises our daily tasks, lets us know when the bird feeder is empty, makes sure the air conditioner is in good working condition and chases away any intruders. She is really a jack-of-all-trades! 🐿️🥜
