Lately there has been so much heavy news, and it can remind us how quietly some people carry their pain. If you are feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or lost right now, please hear this: your presence in this world matters more than you know.
Depression can make people feel invisible, disconnected, or like a burden — but those thoughts are not the truth of who you are. You are not alone, even on the days when it feels silent. Someone cares. Someone would notice your absence. Someone’s life is softer because you exist.
It’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to say, “I’m not okay today.” Strength isn’t pretending everything is fine — it’s allowing yourself to be supported.
Check on your friends. Send the text. Make the call. And if you’re the one struggling, please stay. The world is better with you in it, even if your mind tells you otherwise.
You are loved. You are needed. And your story is not finished yet. 🤍
