Earlier this month, donors dropped off numerous presents for their Adopt a Family families which ended up lining the hallways of our agency. Now all gifts have been delivered to the many happy families who will have something to unwrap come Christmas morning.

We are so grateful to all of the donors and volunteers that helped make this campaign a success! Thank you!

We are in desperate need of holiday gift-wrapping paper for our Adopt a Family Program! If you would like to donate, simply drop off your gift-wrapping paper at 180 Oak Street in Buffalo between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Students in our Hospitality Occupational Skills Training (HOST) program created their own winter village pop-up shop serving hearty roast beef, turkey, and grilled cheese sandwiches and freshly baked sugar cookies. Diners also enjoyed their choice of a rich hot chocolate or a refreshing homemade fruit punch.

The students did an excellent job not only in making the food and drinks, but also in decorating the pop-up shop to look and feel festive. Customers socialized and played a variety of fun games while enjoying their food and drinks.

The people who attend our Day Habilitation Program enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving Day inspired meal thanks to the generosity of several Buffalo restaurants. They enjoyed turkey, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes stuffing, pastelitos, and dessert dishes.

We want to thank Caribbean Taste, Crenshaws Chicken and Waffles, Sweets Lounge and Restaurant, Park Vue Soul Food, and Sweet Cheeks Cake Bar for all their wonderful donations which helped make this lunch a special holiday treat.

I dont have much, but I do what I can. Community Services for Everyone asked us to sponsor a dish and we did. Most people would ask for a whole meal to be sponsored, they just asked for a pan of yams, and Sweets Lounge and Restaurant delivered their request. We are thankful to be able to provide for some decent requests. May God bless this community organization and let them prosper more. In Jesus name, Amen.
