Anyone that ever had the pleasure of meeting with and talking to Father Moreno soon understood that they he possessed all the qualites that a preist should have. His kindness, generosity and compassion, as well as his love of all things Buffalo were legendary. I started this page because though Father Joe has left us, his spirit never should. So please, stop by here and share your stories about this extraordinary man. In this terrible time of grief we can all help one another heal by sharing those things that he inspired in us. We can also help one another in our times of need. If there is one thing everyone seems to agree on, Father Joe never told anybody no. I remember so many times father Joe helping one person with one hand while working the cell phone helping someone else with the other. Whether he was visiting someone in the hospital, acquiring the basics of necessities of life, or just offering an ear to listen, Father Joe was always there. So maybe we all, collectively, can try to pick up where he left off and help one another. So please, wheile here sharing stories, if you need help, ask for it. If you have extra, offer it. There are alot of people and causes, especially the St. Lawrence parish and food pantry that are going to be devastated by his passing. Together we can make a difference!
