October is Dyslexia Awareness Month!

As school psychologists, we play a vital role in identifying and supporting students with dyslexia—often working behind the scenes to ensure every learner’s strengths are recognized and their needs are met.

To help my fellow NYS and national colleagues, I’ve created a FREE professional guide with a report TEMPLATE entitled:
“The School Psychologist’s Guide to Dyslexia Evaluations: A Step-by-Step Practical Approach to Identifying, Evaluating, Reporting, and Supporting Students with Dyslexia.”

This guide provides practical strategies, NYS-specific context, and assessment frameworks to support comprehensive, evidence-based evaluations.
