This little guy is cruising to collect and place his cupcake pieces one by one. While it looks like pure fun (and it is!), he’s also building core strength, coordination, motor planning, and visual skills.

In therapy, play is powerful and sometimes the best work happens while kids are zooming across the floor with a big smile on their face! 😄

Happy National Grammar Day! ✏️📚

Targeting grammar during speech therapy isn’t about being the “grammar police.” 💬 It’s about meaning and understanding.

We work on things like verb tenses, sentence structure, pronouns, and those tricky little endings (like -ed and -s) that make a BIG difference in communication. When kids understand and use grammar correctly, their confidence grows right along with their language skills!

Because every child deserves to be heard and understood — loud, clear, and grammatically awesome. 💙

Compliments are powerful—they help build confidence, strengthen relationships, and support positive communication skills. Giving and receiving compliments is also an important pragmatic (social) language skill.

💬 It’s so important to compliment our children. Hearing kind, specific praise helps them feel valued and teaches them how to use kind words with others.

👉 Try this today: give your child one genuine compliment and encourage them to share one with a friend or family member.

Scooter board fun helps build core strength, coordination, and body awareness while giving sensory systems the input they need to stay calm and regulated.

In OT, play is the magic ✨ and movement like this helps our kids feel strong, organized, and ready to take on big things—one scoot at a time!
