Excited to have 3x CPHS alum Julia Niemi (MSPH ‘17, MPAP ‘17, DHSc ‘23) as the featured speaker in Ms. Adams’ Population Health Class. Dr. Niemi is a familiar face around Smith Hall having earned three degrees and currently serving as an Adjunct Professor teaching the “Community Based Participatory Approaches” course for the Public Health program. Her deep love for Campbell and desire to give back led her to the CPHS Alumni board where she served as President and is currently serving as Secretary. When she’s not on campus, she works as a family medicine provider at Steadman-Wade Health Services Inc. in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Our senior nursing students learned so much from her!

Students in Campbell University’s Physician Assistant program turned competition into compassion at their inaugural pickleball tournament 🎾💛
The event brought together students, faculty, alumni, and community members for a day of fun and purpose, all in support of Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina. ✨
Together, they raised approximately $11,000 to help grant life changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses.

What an incredible day at our inaugural pickleball tournament supporting Make-A-Wish of Eastern NC.

From first serves to final points, the energy was unmatched and the smiles said it all. Students, faculty, alumni, and community members showed up in a big way, bringing fun, friendly competition, and heart to every match. 🧡

Because of this amazing support, we are helping make wishes come true ✨
