Two policy updates:

1. Due to a slew of recent no shows, all NEW clients will be required to put a card on file to confirm their appointments.

2. For the time being, I am only able to sell gift cards to current clients. I am booking out far enough that it’s not fair to take money up front for a service the client will have to wait four months to receive.

I am so, so grateful for therapists who take time out of their lives to enrich and bring joy to mine. This is my friend, Ashley. Yesterday she allowed me to bring my students to her and she showed us a small, small part of a service she offers called a “Bone Closing Ceremony” that is generally done postpartum (I mean, I’m postpartum…12 years ago).

It was so interesting, and even though this is COMPLETELY opposite of anything I do, I found several things to take away to add to my own massage tool box.

Got a wild hair and decided to do a little window film on my door. When I’d finished with it and was congratulating myself on my work, one of the other ladies in the building came by:

Lady: Oh, that’s nice! Reminds me of a church!
Me: It is a church. A church of healing. 🤭🤭🤭

PS Don’t look too closely at it. Some of us cannot cut straight lines.

Friends, if you’re wanting to book for the massage internship Massage Therapy at LSCO will be holding starting March 23, hop on over and like this page. In an effort to keep clientele separate, I will post about openings ONLY on that page.

It’s almost time!! Our students will begin their internships March 23. They will be working Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:45-2pm. We will begin booking March 14 FROM THIS PAGE ONLY. Like, share, save, whatever you have to do to see the reminders!

When they’re done with their hours, they’re done, so if you want in, snap them up as soon as they are posted!

But what I didn’t do was a hot and juicy crawfish massage. 😂😂😂 Praise the Lort.

June schedule is posted for anyone who wants to schedule out that far. Saturdays are filled, evenings are already almost completely full (maybe 1-2 remain), Fridays have a few left. Mondays and Thursdays are pretty wide open.

Heads up: I am out for the second half of July and the first week of August. I’m willing to schedule the first two weeks of July for the extra overachievers!

Continuing education class with my beloved Erik Dalton technique(s). I believe they must make all of their money off of middle aged women who have to take classes over and over again to even remember what’s going on. Excellent marketing technique!

So happy to have yet another refresher to keep me sharp for all of my favorite clients!

THE TIME HAS COME!

I am in need of 🔟 volunteers to help with my student practical finals.

Date: March 2, 2026
Times: 8:45am (5 people) or 10:30am (5 people)
Length: 90 minutes
What: FULL BODY RELAXATION MASSAGE (the students need to be able to do feet/legs/arms/hands/glutes)

Who: People who are ok with RELAXATION massage who will give HONEST feedback/constructive criticism. These students ABSOLUTELY need the feedback to better prepare them for internship. Yes, even if the feedback is tough.

*I have one male student. If having a male therapist bothers you, I need to know.*
