The American Society of Hematology (ASH) is inviting public comment on its draft recommendations for the dosing and monitoring of hydroxyurea for people living with sickle cell disease.

This is more than a checkbox moment—it’s a chance to help shape clinical guidance that touches real lives, real families, and real futures. Clinicians, advocates, researchers, caregivers, and individuals with lived experience are all encouraged to weigh in.

🗓 Public comments are open through January 20, 2026.
Every submission will be reviewed by the guideline panel before recommendations are finalized.

Progress doesn’t happen in silence—it happens when expertise meets lived experience. Let’s make sure both are heard. 💬
