Patient desired a subtle enhancement with a focus on adding a small amount of volume to the upper lip while maintaining the natural fullness of the lower lip to preserve her original volume distribution. The goal was to create a slightly more youthful, balanced appearance without altering her overall lip proportions. By enhancing the top lip, she’s now able to achieve her desired shape without needing to overline with makeup.

Filler correction cases are never just about dissolving product, they’re about trust, transparency, and patient safety.

One of the biggest takeaways I share with every patient: do your research on the establishment and provider, not the price. A “good deal” can end up costing far more when things need to be corrected.
It’s also so important to be completely forthcoming about your previous treatments: where you were injected (inside or outside the U.S.), what product was used, and when. Some providers may hesitate to take on correction cases because of the added responsibility, and full disclosure allows us to make safe, informed decisions together.

Correction is a process, and choosing the right hands matters just as much as choosing the treatment itself.
