Good news! My office is now open to see patients Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 5pm. Office hours subject to change in the future. We have been closely following the news concerning the impact of the Coronavirus COVID-19 in our community. We want to assure you that we take the safety and well-being of our patients, family and staff very seriously. Although this was a tough decision, we know it is the right one for our community. Another successful vision screening at ELAC (Student Care Clinic). We were able to help about 125 people today. Again services provided include vision screening, free glasses (donated) and dental and health care items. Some people were presented with a VSP Certificate. This will allow them access to a free eye exam and glasses through a VSP eye care provider. Thank you Lions Club, Strong Villages and ELAC volunteers for coming together and making this event possible. It is an honor to serve alongside Dr. Perez today! Special thanks to Lynn for bringing volunteers together and creating a dark tent/room for us 🙂

My first vision screening through Strong Villages at ELAC ( Student Care Clinic) yesterday. Services provided include vision screening, free eyeglasses (donated), and dental and health care items. We had to turn away over 100 people, but we were able to help about 75 people. I would like to thank the volunteers for coming out and helping us with this event. This event was made possible by a collaboration between Strong Villages, Lions Club, ELAC faculty and volunteers. Our mission is to help the homeless and disadvantaged students at ELAC. Strong Villages Student Care Clinic will be a monthly occurrence at ELAC, but the services provided will change from time to time. Our goal is to serve as many disadvantaged people as we can.
