For this age group, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine is administered as a primary series of three doses in which the initial two doses are administered three weeks apart followed by a third dose administered at least eight weeks after the second dose in individuals 6 months through 4 years of age.

Mend is participating in the nationwide Test-to-Treat Initiative from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to give individuals an important way to quickly access free lifesaving treatment for COVID-19. Through this program, people are able to get tested and – if they are positive and treatments are appropriate for them – receive a prescription from a health care provider, and have their prescription filled all at one location

🔸Step 1: Get Tested at Mend with On-Site Rapid Antigen Test or Bring a Copy of Your Positive Test

🔸Step 2: Get a Prescription from our On-Site Medical Provider if Eligible for Oral Antiviral Medication (PAXLOVID from Pfizer)

🔸Step 3: Receive Your Prescription On-Site at Mend via In-House Dispensing

Criteria: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued an emergency use authorization (EUA) for nirmatrelvir/ritonavir (PAXLOVID) for treating people with COVID-19 who meet the following criteria: (a) have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 (PCR or antigen), (b) are within five days of symptom onset, (c) have symptoms consistent with mild to moderate COVID-19, (d) are at risk for progression to severe COVID-19, (e) are not hospitalized due to COVID-19, and (f) are age 12 years and older. Please complete the below intake prior to your test/medical evaluation for consideration for in-office PAXLOVID dispensing.
