Fifteen years ago, Fokke de Nord from the Netherlands discovered Tongkat Ali (AKA Eurycoma longifolia or Malaysian Ginseng) and fell down the rabbit hole in the best possible way.

What started as curiosity turned into years of reading through peer-reviewed human studies on standardised hot-water Tongkat Ali root extract and developing a deep respect for what the plant can really do.

He told us how tough it is to find pure, clinically tested Tongkat Ali supplements in the EU and how he eventually came across AKARALI. Since then, he has been a long-term customer and part of our community from afar.

Set amidst the expansive greenery of Putrajaya Wetlands Park, this isn’t your average fun run. This is a last-one-standing battle of grit. The rule? Run 6.706km in under an hour. Every hour. On the hour. Miss the bell? You’re out. No drama. No excuses. Just endurance and willpower.

From 7AM to almost 8PM, runners pushed through 13+ hours of heat, fatigue, and mental warfare. The “rest” time? Whatever minutes you can steal before the next lap begins.
