For many of my clients, this causes added stress & anxiety, both of which can negatively impact blood sugar levels significantly.😬

What’s your perspective on healthy weight loss? If it isn’t a realistic amount, you can easily become discouraged & forget the real meaning behind getting healthy...

👉energy to keep up with kids or grandkids
👉diabetes prevention which means you won’t need to take meds/insulin
👉better mood
👉increased confidence so you can continue to show up for yourself & others

This is why focusing on non-scale victories & your WHY for doing this is MOST important when it comes to getting started & staying consistent with building the healthy habits (the hardest part!)

I’m calling BS... on the naturopath “nutritionists” that are appalled by big pharma & diets YET makes nutrition 100000000x more complicated than it needs to be!

Might as well just start giving your money to a therapist because eventually you’ll need it from second-effects like food anxiety...

Here’s my recommendations:

1) find credentialed professionals that make healthy eating realistic &

2) unfollow anyone that says “ancestors” 🙈

this is 100% false, and while some can tolerate more carbohydrates than others, you don’t have to cut them out!

RECIPE 👇🏻 save for later 🤗

Did you know traditional acai bowls can have ~75 g of carbohydrates or MORE, and THIS is not from all natural sugars 😉

Beware of pesky marketing, especially when it comes to “healthy” food! 🙃

These should definitely be classified as dessert!🤪

Swapping out the acai base for a nut butter base is a great way to minimize sugar content, and increase healthy fats for optimal satiation & balanced blood sugars 💃🏻

Here’s an easy recipe for you to give a try:

Ingredients:
>1 cup frozen cauliflower (or 1/2 banana)
>2 tbsp creamy natural peanut butter
> 1 scoop collagen powder (optional)
> 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or a little more for a thinner texture)

Directions: Blend all ingredients until smooth, and pour into a bowl!

Pick 1 fruit like strawberries! Slice them up & layer onto smoothie bowl mixture. Add additional toppings like chia seeds, slivered almonds, & unsweetened coconut or cacao nibs.

If you’re feeling extra, melt 1 tsp of peanut butter & drizzle over it all! 😋

Can’t have eggs? Try swapping for 2 tbs baking powder & 1/2 cup applesauce!

Also make sure your coconut oil is melted!! 👍
