Unfortunately, pet emergencies don’t always occur during typical veterinarian clinic business hours. When you need after-hours care, you can rely on the expertise and diagnostics of Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital and our medical team. We work in partnership with your regular veterinarian, and forward all information, reports, updated medical records and images to your regular veterinarians office promptly on your loved ones discharge.

Our sweet patient Ritz is finally home with his family—and back with his brother, right where he belongs. This heartwarming moment is exactly why we do what we do.

Ritz came to us in a diabetic crisis (DKA), but with dedicated care and monitoring, he was successfully stabilized and is now continuing his journey at home on diabetic management.

Way to go, Ritz! 🐾

Each month, we’ll be highlighting one of our amazing team members so you can get to know the faces behind the care. From their favorite cases to their pets at home, we’re excited to introduce you to the people that show up every day for your animals and treat them like their own!
This months employee spotlight is…..

Cheyenne Mulkey!

Cheyenne has been in veterinary medicine for 10 years and has been a valued member of the BAEH team since November 2020.
She shares her home with three pets: a bunny named Poppy, a tuxedo cat named Tux, and a grey tabby named Juniper.
Her favorite part of the job is bonding with her patients, watching them improve, and seeing their excitement when they’re reunited with their owners at discharge. Cheyenne especially enjoys working on upper respiratory cases, heart disease, trauma, liver and kidney disease, and ultrasonography cases.
Outside of work, she loves reading, going to concerts, running and hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She has a special love for cheetahs, and fluffy dogs especially Golden Retrievers.
Cheyenne wants our clients to know that she is deeply compassionate and truly cares about both her patients and the people who love them.
