Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital

Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital When your pet needs emergency care, know that Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital is open 24/7. We do not have board members. We do not have shareholders.

Privately Owned
Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital is owned by a single veterinarian who has a single practice location. We do not pay commission to our doctors. Working as a Team
Unfortunately, pet emergencies don’t always occur during typical veterinarian clinic business hours. When you need after-hours care, you can rely on the expertise and diagnostics of Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital and our medical team. We work in partnership with your regular veterinarian, and forward all information, reports, updated medical records and images to your regular veterinarians office promptly on your loved ones discharge.

🌟 BAEH Employee Spotlight 🌟
Each month, we’ll be highlighting one of our amazing team members so you can get to know the faces behind the care. From their favorite cases to their pets at home, we’re excited to introduce you to the people that show up every day for your animals and treat them like their own!
Our first employee spotlight is……

Laura Calhoun!
Laura has been in veterinary medicine for 12 years and has been a part of our team for about 10 months. She shares her home with 3 cats- Zeppelin, Aretha Franklin, and Sabbath- 9 dogs, and currently fosters 3 more!
Her favorite part of the job is seeing sick patients recover, and the moments the patients and owners are reunited and the patients get to go home. She loves the emergent cases, and has a soft spot for all types of hounds.
When she’s not in the hospital, Laura enjoys reading, oil painting, and repurposing old furniture. She is also the proud owner and operator of Hangry Hounds Sanctuary, a nonprofit dedicated exclusively to hounds, helping give them a second chance through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming🐾
