Unfortunately, pet emergencies don’t always occur during typical veterinarian clinic business hours. When you need after-hours care, you can rely on the expertise and diagnostics of Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital and

our medical team. We work in partnership with your regular veterinarian, and forward all information, reports, updated medical records and images to your regular veterinarians office promptly on your loved ones discharge.

⭐️BAEH Employee Spotlight⭐️

This months spotlight is……

Elise Ramos!

Elise is a technician with 20 years in veterinary medicine and 4 years at BAEH, she brings experience, skill, and a whole lot of personality to our team.

At home, she has three pets: Huckleberry (her Aussie/Heeler sidekick) and two tabby cats, Gus and Irie.

Elise loves that no two days are the same and that there’s always something new to learn. When it comes to her favorite patients, she has a soft spot for senior pets—“the crustier the better.”

Her favorite animal is a baby crocodile 🐊

Outside of work you can find her reading or working with Huckleberry in AKC testing and training.

Clients should know that Elise is all about finding the positive in any situation—and she’ll probably make you laugh while doing it.

There’s nothing better than a happy reunion 💙

Our sweet patient Ritz is finally home with his family—and back with his brother, right where he belongs. This heartwarming moment is exactly why we do what we do.

Ritz came to us in a diabetic crisis (DKA), but with dedicated care and monitoring, he was successfully stabilized and is now continuing his journey at home on diabetic management.

Way to go, Ritz! 🐾
