It’s Tacky Sweater Tuesday at CTS! 😜🎄
The louder, brighter, and tackier — the better! Our team brought all the festive fun today with their most wonderfully tacky (or festive/cute) holiday sweaters, and we are loving every jingle, sparkle, and smile! ✨

And get ready… TOMORROW is Whoville Wednesday! 💚🎁 We’ll have a special guest (hint: not exactly Santa lol) stopping by the clinic, so be sure to wear your festive green, Grinch-themed attire, rock some wacky hair, and bring your best Whoville spirit! 👀

Hello everyone, we hope you’re having a MARVELOUS MONDAY! It’s time to introduce you to one of the newest additions to the CTS Team. Please join us in giving a BIG CTS WELCOME to our newest OT team members, Ms. Jordan! 💜

Ms. Jordan received her undergraduate degree from University of North Texas, and her graduate’s degree from University of St. Augustine Dallas campus. She is most looking forward to getting to know everyone better while also continuing to grow professionally as she treats patients and provides support for their families! Ms. Jordan can play a few instruments (violin, guitar, ukulele, piano)! Ms. Jordan says, “Not necessarily exceptional at any one of them, just a jack of all trades but master at none.” 😉

Our new play food objects are so versatile and ready for all the imaginative play possibilities!

Food pictures and objects are a great way to introduce the concept of categorization! You could categorize the food into:
💜Fruits vs vegetables
💙Colors
💜Breakfast vs dessert
💙Cold vs hot
💜Sweet vs sour

You could also address spatial concepts using the basket! Putting the food in the basket, out of the basket, next to the basket or under the basket adds a level of complexity while maintaining all the fun!
