Wow! We’ve hit 2.5k followers! Never in our wildest dreams did we think that many people would want to see what we do. So let me take a second to introduce/reintroduce myself!

My name is Dr. Stanton Wong. I’m your chiropractor, content creator, receptionist, therapist, and friend! Along with with my HR/PR manager (my wife), and our little intern, we’ve been bringing chiropractic service throughout the San Francisco Bay Area for 4 years and counting! Our goal is to help as many people with chiropractic and to make it accessible in any way possible so that you can be at your best. Before entering the realm of health and wellness, I was a teacher for almost 10 years, so chiropractic was an easy choice to transition to, as I still had an opportunity to work with children and families and have an everlasting impact on their lives. In my free time, I like to binge on great shows and movies with the wife, listen to music, connect with friends, and help our intern explore her interests in life.

Chiropractic is important to me because it allows you to be at your best. Contrary to the belief that it’s just about pain management, chiropractic is about allowing for the best brain body connection. We can all agree that without our brain, we simply cannot function. Well, our spinal cord is an extension of our brain and allows for the reception of information our body intakes from our environment, and the proper output our body needs to respond. Hence why having optimum spine function is vital to our life! So those little aches and pains, numbness in your extremities, are actually signs your body is signaling for dysfunction and for you to pay attention. That’s where chiropractic comes in! We look for the root cause of your issues and look to address them with a specific adjustment to a specific segment. People come in with pain issues but come back telling us about how they can move better and are more in tune with their posture. Others tell us about being in better moods and getting much better sleep. So if that’s something you’d love to see improved in your life, come on in and we’d love to see how we can help you be a better you!

🚨 We now offer infrared therapy at SF Connected Chiropractic! We are always looking for ways to improve your body’s function and know this will be a great tool in helping you achieve those goals!

What is infrared therapy?

Light at certain wavelengths is scientifically proven to interact with the body in beneficial ways.
Red and near-infrared wavelengths are a uniquely healing part of the electromagnetic spectrum and it is one of the most natural ways to charge the body.

Red Light:
Wavelengths ranging from 600-650nm. Red light boosts the formation of collagen and elastin, and assists cell communication. It penetrates superficially (up to 5mm) and is mainly used for skin conditions.

Near Infrared (NIR) Light:
Wavelengths ranging from 750-850nm. NIR stimulates healing, increases mitochondrial function and improves blood flow and tissue oxygenation. It penetrates deeper into the body (up to 10cm).

Applications of Infrared Light Therapy can help:

Target the root cause of pain instead of suppressing the symptom, including muscle and joint pain, arthritis, menstrual cramps.
