It smelled like heaven throughout the community thanks to Chef Martin's live cookie demonstration! 🍪 While the residents watched the master at work, Chef Martin whipped up a batch of his signature chocolate chip cookies, but with a gourmet twist: a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top for that perfect nutty finish.

The best part? The "quality control" testing at the end, of course! It’s safe to say these didn't last long on the cooling rack.

Lucky & Creative! 🍀 Our residents have been busy getting into the St. Paddy’s Day spirit! We spent the afternoon crafting these festive door decorations to bring a little "luck of the Irish" to our hallways. 🌈✨

From shimmering shamrocks to gold coins, everyone put their own unique spin on their decor. We think they look absolutely charming—wouldn't you agree?

Monica’s holistic approach to well-being (combined with a very popular pet visit!) brought so much engagement and happiness to our residents. Celebrating the Year of the Horse in style! 🧧 We’re still buzzing from our Lunar New Year festivities this past week. It was a day filled with tradition, flavor, and some seriously impressive moves.

Our community came together to welcome the new year with some truly special activities:

Artistry in Motion: Residents and staff admired the beautiful brushwork and traditional characters at our calligraphy station

Wok & Roll: A huge thank you to Chef Martin! His wok cooking demonstration was a sensory delight, and the aromas in the room were absolutely incredible. 🥢

The Main Event: We were captivated by a spectacular Lion Dance performance. The energy, the colors, and the drums brought so much joy and good fortune to our halls.

What a day! It’s moments like these that make our community so vibrant. We love seeing everyone embrace new experiences and celebrate the rich cultures that make our world so wonderful.

Sweet success, indeed! 🍪 This week, we had some very persuasive Girl Scouts stop by to showcase their sales skills. Let’s just say our residents didn't stand a chance. Resistance was futile (and delicious)! We’re officially stocked up on Thin Mints and Adventurefuls until further notice. Huge thanks to this group of young entrepreneurs for the smiles and the sugar rush!

Follow the yellow brick road! 👠✨ Our community was filled with the sounds of Munchkinland and Emerald City last weekend thanks to a special visit from the talented student musicians of Mills High School.

Our residents had a front-row seat as these gifted students performed a medley of classics from The Wizard of Oz. There truly is no place like home, especially when it’s filled with music, laughter, and the energy of the next generation. A huge thank you to the Mills High Vikings for sharing your time and talent with us!

Love was truly in the air (and in the music!) this past Saturday. 🌹🎷 We’re still smiling thinking about our Valentine’s Day celebration. Our residents spent the afternoon looking sharp in their new Valentine's brooches, holding fresh roses, and soaking in the smooth sounds of the incredibly talented saxophonist, Nelson Nazareno.

But the real showstopper? The letters. 💌
We shared a special reading of "love letters" written by our residents and staff. It was a beautiful reminder that love isn’t just one-size-fits-all. We heard tributes to:
❤️ Devoted husbands and wives
❤️ Cherished grandparents and best friends
❤️ Lifelong passions like art and music

It was a day of high notes, sweet scents, and even sweeter memories. Thank you to everyone who shared their heart with us!
