If I could go back 10 years, I wouldn’t wait until I saw aging to start taking care of my skin.
Here’s what I tell my patients in their 20s:
Most sun damage and collagen loss starts earlier than you think. It builds quietly over time—long before fine lines or discoloration show up.
A lot of us grew up with plenty of sun exposure, and at the time, we weren’t thinking about long-term skin health. That’s okay—but this is the stage where you can get ahead of it.
In your 20s, the goal isn’t correction. It’s prevention.
That usually looks like:
• A sunscreen you’ll actually wear daily
• Supporting collagen with treatments like microneedling
• Thoughtful, preventative use of neurotoxin when appropriate
Small, consistent steps now can make a meaningful difference over time.
If you’re in your mid to late 20s, it’s a great time to come in for a consultation and build a plan that makes sense for your skin.
