🚨 119 New Athletic Trainer Jobs This Week

The first National Athletic Training Month Athletic Trainer Finder Weekly Digest is live!

This week includes:

• Six-figure WNBA leadership roles

• A $154K salary ceiling at a major health system

• Secondary schools pushing toward six figures

And also…

• A Division I “seasonal” AT role at $19/hour, capped and non-benefited.

Both realities exist in the current market.

National Athletic Training Month is about recognition — but it should also be about standards.

The ceiling is rising. The question is whether the floor follows.

Full breakdown of all 119 roles and salary ranges in this week’s newsletter and job board linked below.

🚨 136 NEW ATHLETIC TRAINING JOBS THIS WEEK 🚨

The latest Athletic Trainer Finder Weekly Digest just dropped.

Big wave of secondary school roles. Strong clinical and industrial spots. Early 2026–27 postings already hitting the market. Some great opportunities. Some that need more transparency. As always, everything is broken down so you can actually evaluate what’s worth your time.

And we quietly passed 1,000 subscribers last week. No ads. No gimmicks. Just ATs sharing it with other ATs.

If you’re job hunting — or know someone who is — tag them, share this, or make sure they’re subscribed. No athletic trainer should miss a real opportunity because they didn’t know it existed.

139 new athletic trainer jobs hit the Athletic Trainer Finder board this week, and the market continues to look pretty familiar.

Nothing this week really knocked my socks off — but there was plenty of volume, a few interesting postings from recognizable employers, and some subtle shifts worth paying attention to.

Two things that stood out:
• Early postings for the 2026–27 school year
• The appearance of a few hybrid/virtual AT roles

Both feel like responses to ongoing staffing challenges more than true innovation, but they’re signals worth watching.

I broke down what stood out — and what it actually means — in this week’s Athletic Trainer Finder digest.

🚨 138 New Athletic Trainer Finder Jobs — February 2, 2026 🚨

The end of January slowed on full-time roles, but PRN and temporary jobs surged — especially in college and secondary schools. That’s a sign many programs are patching gaps now and pushing real hiring into the spring.

The biggest story this week:
Aiken County Public Schools raised athletic trainer pay by $9,000+, pushed the top end over $105K, and added a $5,000 bonus after struggling to fill roles. That’s supply and demand in action.

Here’s what the rest of the market looks like:
• Industrial roles continue to lead on pay and predictability
• College athletics remains squeezed
• Secondary schools show both strong opportunities — and some that still need work

This week’s board includes a six-figure pro role, PRN and temporary openings, and competitive secondary school postings.

If you’re in the market — or know someone who is — this is worth sharing.

🚨 139 New Athletic Trainer Jobs — January 26, 2026🚨
AT Finder just crossed the one-month mark, and this week’s job market didn’t slow down.
We tracked 140 new athletic trainer roles across the U.S., including a noticeable uptick in professional and semi-pro sports as baseball spring training ramps up. That should be good news — but too many of those teams still refuse to list pay, and one MLB club went as low as $15.15/hour for a licensed athletic trainer. I didn’t link that job. Some numbers don’t deserve clicks.
The rest of the market told a clearer story:
High schools and prep schools are still some of the most stable roles when done right.
Industrial and occupational health continues to lead on pay and schedule predictability.
And a few pro teams are finally starting to be transparent about compensation.
This week’s board includes 92 roles with real salary or hourly pay listed, plus several six-figure and pro-sports opportunities that actually put numbers behind the scope.
If you’re in the market — or even just watching where the profession is headed — this week’s list is worth a look.

🚨 Week 3 is live. 🚨

154 new athletic training jobs just dropped in the Athletic Trainer Finder Weekly Job Digest.

This week was a mixed bag.
Some postings missed the mark—unclear scope, low pay, or numbers that don’t hold up once cost of living is factored in. Others got it right: clear expectations, realistic compensation, and roles that actually let ATs practice at the level they’re trained for.

Industrial continues to raise the bar.
College athletics—especially D2/D3—still feels squeezed.

That contrast is exactly why this digest exists.

Happy MLK Day to everyone getting a rare day off—and to those working games tonight, I see you.

Welcome to Athletic Trainer Finder.

After a lot of behind-the-scenes work, I’m officially launching the first edition of a new AT-focused blog/newsletter. The idea is simple: curate athletic training job postings and add real, AT-to-AT context around pay, benefits, setting, and what actually makes a job worth considering.

This is very much version 1.0. It’s a starting point, not a finished product. The plan is to keep improving it based on feedback from athletic trainers who are in the field, job searching, hiring, or just paying attention to where our profession is headed.

If you choose to follow along, expect:

Curated AT job postings (not everything under the sun)

Honest commentary, not fluff

A focus on transparency and job quality

The first edition is live, and I’m always open to feedback—what’s useful, what’s missing, and what would make this better for you.

Thanks for being here. More to come.
