I think I speak for everyone in Wisconsin when I say WHAT. A. WEEK. 🌪️

While we are no stranger to tornados, 4 nights in a row of them is not the usual. Last night the warning (not watch, warning) was in effect for TWO hours. Typically warnings are anywhere from 30-45 min tops.

I hope all my friends, neighbors, and community are first and foremost SAFE, but hopefully avoided any flooding or damage. Thankfully everything here is okay, and we did not get any damage or flooding (although it was looking mighty close).

I’ve said over and over again, these storms are all fun and games until you have kids…a home that you OWN…animals…etc. I remember loving the rush of these things in my 20s, but now, especially when we just dropped a lot of money on our house renovations, mmmmm not so much. 🥲🥲🥲

Needless to say I don’t think my stomachs dropped so many times in such a short time frame lol. While I’m sure not loving the cold this morning, I’m sure loving the next 5 day forecast with not a drop of rain in sight.
