We always look forward to hosting the Skagit County 4-H clubs for their annual presentations! Our residents absolutely love meeting the animals, and having youth in our community brings so much joy, laughter, and energy to the day. Thank you to these amazing young leaders for sharing their hard work with us! 🐐🐓💚

🍀 We had a great time hosting our Shamrocks and Smart Planning Event alongside our sister community, Homeplace of Burlington! Together we enjoyed a festive gathering while learning helpful tips about planning for the future.

We took a bus ride to La Conner and it turned into such a great little adventure. 🚌

Got to see the beautiful Rainbow Bridge as we came into town, and while walking around we happened to step into an art studio just as an artist was working on a painting. Such a fun afternoon.

Welcome Our New Executive Chef!

Egle was born and raised in Lithuania and moved to the United States in 2004. She brings over 18 years of culinary experience. In her spare time, she also works as a pastry chef at the Speakeasy Saloon in Burlington, creating delicious desserts.

Egle studied culinary arts in Lithuania, completed a nutrition course at the University of North Dakota, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business.

She has one daughter and an Aussie dog she enjoys spending time with. Egle is also an artist who paints acrylic abstract paintings.

Her goal is to turn perfectly good ingredients into delicious meals—one spice at a time! 🙂

We braved the drizzle and stopped at West Beach in Oak Harbor, and it was totally worth it. We watched a humpback whale breach twice out in the water—absolutely amazing to witness! Did anyone else see it? 🌧️🐋
