Jamie Clayton is the owner and founder of Bare. She is licensed in the state of Vermont as a medical esthetician, electrologist, certified laser technician, and makeup artist. She has been working in the skincare industry since 2008. Her passion is to help people feel self-confident and find their inner beauty. She has focused her business around providing a warm and inviting atmosphere to all her clients, enabling them to learn more about caring for their skin. She believes skin health determines the overall health of the body, especially one’s emotional well being. She regularly travels throughout the United States and Canada to continue her education in medical skincare and laser technology in order to best serve her clients. Jamie resides in Essex with her two beautiful boys. When Jamie is not working at Bare she enjoys traveling with her family.
Dr. Scott Benjamin joins Bare Medical Spa + Laser Center with over 14 years of medical experience in Vermont. Dr. Benjamin received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, as well as studying at Sinai Hospital and John Hopkins. He is board certified in pediatric rehabilitation, physical medicine, and rehabilitation. He has extensive experience with the use of botulinum toxins (Botox, Dysport), as well as other cosmetic injections. He has performed thousands of injections over the last decade and a half. Scott Benjamin, M.D. specializes with complicated neurologically impaired patients of whom have benefited from botulinum toxins for spasticity. His training includes extensive knowledge of muscular anatomy, including that of the face and head. He understands the muscle actions that lead to rhytides (wrinkles) and shape the face. Dr. Benjamin is certified in Botox Cosmetic, Xeomin and Dysport for aesthetic enhancements; advanced aesthetics procedures including advanced Botox and Dermal fillers; as well as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) training for medical and aesthetic use.
Elizabeth Rossetti, Injection Specialist, Cosmetic Laser Technician
Elizabeth Rossetti is a board certified Physician Assistant and has been with Bare Medical Spa + Laser Center since early 2015. She performs cosmetic injections, laser tattoo removal, vein removal, and cosmetic laser procedures. She received her Bachelor of Science in biomedical technology at the University of Vermont in 2005. She completed her Masters in Physician Assistant education at SUNY Stony Brook on Long Island, NY in 2008. Elizabeth practiced medicine for 6 years in Phoenix, Arizona (where she began injecting) before returning to Vermont. Her cosmetic injection training includes: Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, Phoenix, AZ in 2010; Esthetic Skin Institute Boston, MA in 2015, 2017 and 2018. As part of the Bare medical team, she receives advanced training on new techniques and products every 3-6 months.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband, Cory, and two children, Leila and Eli. She loves photography, reading, and trying new restaurants.
Valentina Morse, Electrologist
Valentina Morse studied electrolysis at The Electrology Institute of New England (600 hours) and was certified in 2013. Valentina has also been practicing massage therapy for 15 years and was a licensed nursing assistant for 10 years. In 2007, she received a Bachelors of Science from Johnson State College in Alternative Medicine and graduated as a Chesamore Honor Society Member. In 2003, Valentina also received two associate degrees from CCV, a Liberal Arts major and an 800-hour massage therapy focus.
Lindsay Keppler, Medical Esthetician/Cosmetic Laser Technician
Lindsay Keppler is a licensed medical esthetician in the state of Vermont and has been working in the esthetics field since 2014. She studied at the Obrien’s Aveda Institute and since licensure, she has worked on continuing education at the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in Woburn, MA to build her knowledge and has gained certifications in many different esthetic procedures. Lindsay is also a certified lash extension artist who was trained by Xtreme Lash, the global leader in eyelash extensions, and regularly attends different trainings and conferences to stay up to date on new skills and trends. She offers a wide array of services and loves sharing her expertise with her clients. She prides herself in her meticulous, results-driven work and has a passion for making clients look and feel their best.
Jennifer Dodge, Cosmetic Laser Technician
Jennifer Dodge attended the University of Vermont where she received her Bachelor of Science in 2001. Post graduation she worked in medical research positions at UVM including the Vermont Cancer Center and Cochrane Neonatal. She attended the National Laser Institute, in Chicago, IL where she received her certification as a cosmetic laser technician while undergoing extensive training in aesthetic laser treatments such as laser hair removal, tattoo removal, photofacials, CoolSculpting as well as microneedling. Outside of work she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her two boys.
Shelby Gillespie, Spa Manager
Our wonderful spa manager, Shelby Gillespie, has traveled all over the world on leadership teams opening boutiques, as well as working with other boutiques locally! Shelby loves her family and has made her home near her parents in Underhill with her husband Kevin and daughters Delaney & Marlowe.
