Stacked Therapies

Stacked Therapies Welcome to Stacked Therapies! 🌳 We provide in-home & virtual OT and Speech Therapy to help kids grow, learn, and thrive!

Serving Southeastern WI, we focus on sensory, motor, and communication skills to build confidence & independence. Stacked Therapies is a veteran-owned business that was specifically created to serve the pediatric population within Burlington and its surrounding areas. As Stacked Therapies grows, so will our providers! We will soon be able to offer a range of specialties and expertise that will support our little ones. We are dedicated to discovering the full potential of each child while providing services within their natural environment: home, daycare, school, or within their community. At Stacked Therapies, we pride ourselves on employing evidence-based approaches combined with out-of-the-box thinking. Our mission is to enhance their strengths and discover new ones along the way.

Speech therapy is beneficial for any age group, but older children are often overlooked. Many learning difficulties have language components that impact comprehension of text and information. If your child struggles with learning new information and reading comprehension, speech therapy may help.

✨ OT Month Spotlight: Brianna, COTA ✨

If you hear giggles, see tiny humans fully engaged, and wonder “how did she even think of that activity?!”… yep, that’s Brianna 😄

She has a true gift with our littles—turning sessions into play, connection, and BIG wins in the smallest moments. And somehow, every activity she creates is equal parts fun, functional, and genius.

When it comes to feeding therapy, Brianna is a rockstar. From picky eaters to complex feeding challenges, she brings patience, creativity, and just the right amount of encouragement (and maybe a little mess 🥣).

But what really makes her shine is how she supports families—giving them tools, confidence, and realistic strategies they can actually use at home.

✨ And let’s be honest… she’s brought a whole new spark to our team. The kind of energy you can feel the moment she walks in.

💛 Brianna, we are so grateful for you, your creativity, and the joy you bring to every child and family you work with.

April 2nd is World Autism Awareness/Acceptance day as well as the whole month of April being Autism Acceptance month.

Together we can move beyond simple awareness towards acceptance by listening to autistic voices, respecting differences, promoting inclusivity, and advocating for support.

We can promote a world where all children feel seen, heard, and valued for who they are.

✨ OT Month Spotlight: Dr. Zola ✨

If you’ve ever wondered who’s behind alot of the magic at Stacked Therapies… surprise—it’s probably Dr. Zola 😄

From dreaming up our summer camps (seriously… how does she make them this fun AND therapeutic?!) to bringing in resources we didn’t even know we needed—she’s always 10 steps ahead.

She’s the kind of OT who can turn anything into a therapeutic activity… a swing? regulation. a game? executive functioning. a random object? suddenly it’s a full treatment plan.

But beyond all that creativity, what we’re most grateful for is her heart. The way she shows up for kids, families, and our team does not go unnoticed.

💛 Dr. Zola, thank you for helping us grow, think outside the box, and for making therapy feel like something kids actually WANT to do.

(Also… thank you for making us look way more organized than we actually are 😅)

April is occupational therapy month!

We are celebrating all the OTs out there that help people build the skills they need for everyday life.

From improving fine motor skills, to supporting sensory needs, to building independence in daily routines, and so much more.

Occupational therapy helps children grow in confidence and thrive in their world!

We are proud of our amazing OT team and the difference they make every single day.

Picky eater at home? You’re not alone.

Try a Learning Plate 🍽️

Have your child decorate a plate that’s just for exploring new foods—no pressure to eat. Then use it to gently build comfort by:
• Looking at the color
• Smelling the food
• Talking about size and shape
• Touching and noticing texture

This keeps the focus on curiosity instead of pressure—an important step in feeding development.

Tip: Place parchment paper under the food for easy clean-up—and remember, this is for exploring, not eating.

Bonus: Let them use their fingers while decorating for extra sensory play 🎨

🚽 How many times should you actually be peeing each day?

If you’re going:
👉 Every hour
👉 Or holding it ALL day

Your bladder might be trying to tell you something…

💡 Normal = about 6–8 times per day
(And maybe once at night)

Anything more or less could mean:
• Pelvic floor dysfunction
• Bladder habits that need retraining
• Or irritation from diet/lifestyle

✨ Your bladder should work for you — not control your day.
